Post‐procedural considerations
The general principles of care mentioned earlier in the this chapter are relevant to this section. Close monitoring of the patient after a position change will ensure any change in observations is noted and acted on appropriately.
Documentation
Details of the patient's position should be documented, as should the length of time they spend in that position. Any incidents or changes in condition during the procedure should be clearly reported and documented.
