Post‐procedural considerations
Comfort and personal hygiene preferences are individual to each patient; each procedure should be carried out with consideration of these preferences. Furthermore, the preferences, along with assessments and outcomes of procedures, should be documented and communicated to other health professionals involved in the patient's care to ensure continuity and effective evaluation of the care provided.
